The Supreme Court has again rejected an application by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the apex court to review its last judgement in which it voided the party’s participation in the last elections in Zamfara State.
Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, leading a five-man panel of the court, on Monday struck out the application.
Senior lawyer, Robert Clarke, had argued in favour of the APC.
The court had last May nullified the participation of all candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara in the 2019 elections.
It also awarded governorship, National Assembly and state Assembly elective posts to the party which polled second highest votes, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
