The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has handed over a property seized from slain Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh to the Voice of Nigeria, VON, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that the handing over took place at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, on Wednesday, July 17.
The EFCC said the building which was forfeited by the late Defence Chief, will now become the new headquarters of VON.
In a tweet @officialEFCC obtained by Igbere, the anti-graft agency said the property is located at Plot 1386 Uda Crescent, off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.
The property was formally handed over to VON by the EFCC Secretary, Ola.
He recalled that VON has been struggling for office space for over 20 years in Radio House, Abuja, a facility that belongs to its parent organisation, Radio Nigeria.
At the handing over event, VON promised to produce a special programme to be dedicated to the EFCC.
The property is valued at N4.5 billion, Igbere TV reports.
