A former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmed Makarfi, has lost his father, Muhammad Makarfi, Igbere TV reports.
Mr Makarfi’s spokesman, Mukhtar Sirajo, confirmed that the father of the former Kaduna State governor died on Tuesday.
He will be buried in his hometown Makarfi, in Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Makarfi, who is reportedly abroad, is expected to return to the country soon.
