National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has made his appearance at the hearing of the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in February 2019 elections, Atiku Abubakar.
Mr Oshiomhole made the surprise appearance on Monday, days after a senior lawyer, Ben Nwabueze, made a similar appearance for PDP.
Oshiomhole attended Monday’s proceedings dressed in brown French suit.
He was accompanied by the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu.
PDP’s national chairman, Uche Secondus, had also attended proceedings.
Also attending Monday’s proceedings are former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara; former chairman of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC), Tom Ikimi; and PDP spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan.
PDP is challenging the outcome of the presidential election won by Mr. Buhari, candidate of the APC.
