These photos purpotedly showing moments during arrest and interrogation of Senator Elisha Abbo, the senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, who was was caught on camera beating a woman at a sex toy shop has sparked fresh controversy amongst social media users.
Mr Abbo, a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who met the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, on Thursday at the Force headquarters before heading to the command for questioning.
Many people opined that with the posture of the pictures, The senator is the one interrogating the I.G.
Recall that the embattled legislator had wept and apologised to the woman on Wednesday during a press briefing he organised to address matters over the video.
The IGP had also ordered FCT police commissioner, Bala Ciroma, to carry out forensic investigation of the footage which showed Abbo repeatedly slapping his victim over what appeared to be a minor disagreement while a police officer looked on.
