Reno Omokri, former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, has faulted state governors for bowing to President Muhammadu Buhari during their meeting at the Presidential villa, Abuja.
The former presidential aide said governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, “takes sycophancy too far.”
Omokri, a United States based Pastor noted that the president should be respected and his office treated with dignity.
In a tweet via his social media handle, the former presidential aide advised that if the president offers to shakes hands, governors look at him in the face and, “give him a firm a firm grip.”
The tweet reads, “Why should a governor BOW to greet President Buhari? Is he God? Do US Governors bow to greet Trump? APC Governors take sycophancy too far.
“Respect the President and treat his office with dignity, but when he offers you his hand, look him in the face and give him a firm grip!.”
