Seven suspected gunmen have kidnapped Tsua Ibi, the immediate past special assistant on revenue matters to Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku.
Mr Ibi was abducted on Tuesday in his house at Tornengee village in Serkin-Kudu Ibi Local Government Area of the state.
The victim’s brother, Fidelis Mbaade, told Leadership that the gunmen stormed the house at 7:37 pm.
Mr Mbaade said they had just returned from the farms and were waiting to be served dinner when the men arrived.
He said the gunmen asked his brother to surrender his phones and threatened to shoot him if he did not go with them.
Police in Taraba have not made an official statement on the incident.
