Aminu Sheu, a student of the Osun State Polytechnic, has reportedly slumped and died on Friday after writing his second semester examination.
Igbere TV learnt that the Higher National Diploma (HND) student of the department of Applied Chemistry, was observing the Ramadan fast throughout the examination period, and may have possibly lost balance.
He was said to have slumped immediately after submitting his examination paper, and gave up the ghost while being rushed to the hospital.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Tope Abiola, who confirmed the incident, said the deceased was rushed to the school’s clinic and later referred to another hospital in the town where he was confirmed dead.
Igbere TV gathered that the late student was buried on Friday evening in his hometown, Oba’agun, in line with Islamic rite.
