The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has allegedly threatened a Nigerian activist, Professor Obasi Igwe, for “challenging the poverty and under development” in his community, Etitiama Nkporo.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV, Prof. Igwe revealed that PDP seems unforgiving and is after his life.

He said PDP is using Etitiama Nkporo Development Union (ENDU) to threaten him after he exposed the rigging which happened in Etitiama Nkporo (Abia state Deputy Governor’s village) during the 2019 Governorship and state House of Assembly elections.

Prof. Igwe further revealed that 200,000 naira has been extorted from him by people allegedly working under the instructions of the Abia state Deputy Governor, Ude Oko Chukwu and urged Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to call them to order.
