Imo State police command has paraded a 23-year-old commercial sex worker and armed robbery suspect in connection with a robbery incident in Owerri North L.G.A of the state.
The Police Commissioner, CP Rabiu Ladodo, who disclosed this on Friday, while briefing newsmen at the command headquarters in Owerri, said the suspect Ifeoma Agbo of Umuakara Isambo L.G.A of Ebonyi state is a commercial sex worker at Chicken Star Hotel, Atta Ikeduru L.G.A of Imo State.
“On 03/02/2019 at about 2300hr, the occupants of a residential building of one Modestus Anyadike ‘m’ of Egbelu Agbara in Owerri North L.G.A was robbed by a gang of armed men numbering about six,” the CP said.”They carted away Plasma Television, Home Theatre Musical Set, Assorted Handsets and other valuables.
On 25/3/2019, following a thorough intelligence gathering and data analysis, operatives of Anti-Kidnapping Unit arrested the above named suspect in possession of one Itel Phone belonging to one of the victims.
Suspect has made useful statements that will led to the arrest of other members of the gang now at large for possible recovery of robbed items and squash the syndicate.” He added.
