A young man identified as Alex Chukwumezie committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree. The incident happened on Tuesday, April 2, in Ihiala, Anambra State.

“Alex Chukwumezie son from Ubahuekwem Ihiala Anambra state commits suicide Tuesday evening 02/04/2019.
His name is Chika Chukwumezie and his corpse has been thrown into the thick forest in the midnight and efforts are ongoing to bring in traditionalists who will cut off the orange tree and sanctify the compound.Enveloped history has it that his uncle about centenary ago committed these same suicide also at youthful age.”
