The Niger State Government has said that the renovation and reconstruction of its Government House will cost N3.2 billion, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere reports that the State Commissioner of Works, Zakari Jikantoro, disclosed this in Minna on Thursday.
He said the project was divided into phases, adding that work on the first phase which gulped N2.1 billion had been concluded.
Speaking further, the commissioner said the contract for the phase two costing N1.6 billion had been awarded.
Jikantoro said the second phase would cover three sets of three bedroom guest house, swimming pool, among others; while the first phase covered the Government House, the front gate and the fencing.
