These are the excerpt words relished by Prince Lawrence Ezeh on the Former Governor of Abia State Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu when he paid him a courtesy call at his Presidential Hilltop resident in Maitaima Abuja recently.
Dr. Orju Uzor Kalu won the Abia North Senatorial seat.
According to Prince Lawrence Eze who is the Prince of Mburubu Kingdom in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is a man who has great interest and the concern of the Igbo’s peaceful and integral development.
Prince Lawrence Ezeh was candidate of All Progressive Congress for Enugu East Senatorial District in the just concluded election.
“Dr Kalu has continually advocated earnestly that the entire leaders of South-East should proceed along the path of an overall development that embraces the social, political, economic, cultural and spiritual well-being of its peoples,” he said, adding, “Dr Kalu’s concern is not limited to the needs of Ndigbo, but also to the entire country.”
“His exemplary leadership qualities, his selfless service to all, without distinction of race or creed are good testimonies of his person,” he added.
“In this respect, I urge Igbo leaders to continue along the path of Orji Kalu, especially through the effective and selfless contributions to the progress of their own States and to the advancement of Nigeria as a whole, the Prince of Mburubu suggested.
Prince Ezeh who is deeply concerned about the tragic condition of people suffering from famine, exposed to sickness and disease, lack of employment, security challenges, thousand forced to become refugees, as a result of political decadency orchestrated by mismanagement and misrule of past administration before APC administration, said, “in spite of such difficulties, it is important nevertheless not to lose sight of Buhari’s enormous capacity for advancement as captured in his Next Level Agenga for Nigeria.”
“Looking at the human potentials and President Buhari’s Next Level Programmes, with appropriate and effective solidarity of every Nigerian, we can look forward to a development truly capable of meeting the needs and aspirations of Nigerians,” he said.
Appreciating the visit of goodwill on him, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu expressed optimism that with Ezeh’s wealth of experience garnered so far, he will continue to play a substantial role in encouraging and coordinating development and progress of Ndigbo and Nigeria in general.
According to him, “Prince Ezeh’s commitment, sense of responsibility and confidence in future is greatly encouraged. From what I have heard and seen about him, he is an essential ingredient of the better future to which all the peoples of Nigeria legitimately aspire. He is an agent of progress”.
