Former governor and Senator elect, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has visited his 4,969 hectare of farm in Abia State.
Igbere TV reports that the former governor happily shared pictures of the farm on his social media account.
According to him the farm was started in 1998 and half of it is dedicated to Cassava farm.
“A visit to my farm after the day’s campaign, a 4,969 hectare owned by me since1998 with over 2,500 hectares dedicated to Cassava planting. Our last harvest crashed the price from N1800 to N850 per-ton. Our 2017 oilpalm is also ready for harvest & we’ve planted more.”
Igbere TV recalls that Kalu was recently elected as senator to represent Abia North Senatorial District in the next 9th National Assembly. He was elected under the platform of APC.
