Mum Captures ‘child ghost’ Running Around Her Garden

A MUM was left terrifies after her security camera captured creepy footage of a child ghost in her new home – which used to be a Victorian school.
Amanda Papadopoulos, 39, was home alone with her two children, aged four and six, when she first saw the spirit floating around her garden in Eagle, Lincolnshire.

Her husband Paul, 47, who was working away from home, got a notification from security firm Nest saying something had been caught on camera in the garden.
Amanda, a secretary, looked at the footage on their computer on Tuesday and saw a ghostly creature whizzing around and swinging on a washing line before flying off over the roof of the 1903 building.
She said: “It’s not every day you pick something like that up onscreen. I was like ‘Oh my god, let me look at that again.’
“I don’t want to look at it too much. My husband think it’s fantastic whereas I’m a bit more [scared].”

The spooky sighting wasn’t the first time the family have witnessed paranormal activity in the house.
Amanda and Paul, a company director, have heard soldiers marching and been woken up by the sound of children laughing.
When she went downstairs to check on her children they were both fast asleep, and she believes all of the incidents are connected.
Amanda said: “I thought ‘Am I going mad or am I hearing things?’
“My daughter went through a period of waking up [in the night] and it was kind of around the same time.
HAUNTED
“She kept waking up around the 1am time and the clip is from about half 11 to 1:20am.”
In October the family moved into the ancient village of Eagle, which appears in the Domesday Book.
The town also has a close association with the Knights Templar, and a headquarters set up in the town in the Middle Ages.
Their new house is a former chapel, constructed in the late 1800s, and Victorian school house, built in 1903, which leads Amanda to believe either a child or a knight ghost is haunting them.
Amanda added: “I don’t know whether a grown Templar Knight would swing around a washing line, depends how much congregational wine they’d been drinking.”
She believes the family may have angered the ghost because of work they’ve done on the house, but also thinks it could be a child ghost who visits to see her children.
Amanda said: “We’ve cut down a lot of trees so I don’t know whether that’s disturbed something because when you make changes it can do stuff.
“Children encourage children in so that could be why they’ve arrived.”
