An attempt by the Transition Chairman of Isikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, Barrister Mark Okorie, to snatch ballot papers and boxes at Ward 1, Unit 009 (Obioha Ihensu village square) polling unit has been foiled by security agencies, Igbere TV reports.
Sources told Igbere TV that the PDP Chieftain and his cohorts, who arrived at the said polling unit in a grey Lexus Jeep were accompanied by thugs and miscreants.
The gallant military personnel present were said to have vehemently resisted the undemocratic antics of the chairman, with support from the locals in the community.
The chairman was later spotted in other polling units within Isuikwato LGA bragging that the PDP will falsify results of Abia North Senatorial Zone at the Collation centre in Ohafia.
