The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) in Zamfara state, Alhaji Sani Shinkafi has endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the forthcoming presidential election, Igberetvnews reports.
Sani made this known during his campaign in Bungudu, the headquarters of Bungudu local government area of the state, Igberetvnews has learnt.
He was reported to have said: “I am aware that my party (APGA) has its presidential candidate in the coming presidential election, but I also believe in making the right choice.
“l, therefore, wish to announce that my choice is the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari and l enjoin all well-meaning Nigerians to vote for him again so that he will continue with the good work he is doing for the country.
“l also want to call on you, my good people of Zamfara, to vote for me as the next governor so that I can improve your general well-being.
“As you are all aware, my party is the only one that does not have internal crisis in the state.”
He further promised to improve education, health care services and economic empowerment, especially among women and youth.
“l will build more schools, upgrade teachers standard, provide all necessary equipment and medicament in our health care facilities and support women and youth through various programmes and financial support so that they can be self-reliant,” he added.
