A middle-aged man simply identified as Emmanuel Johnson, has been arrested by the Police after he allegedly stole the sum of N660,000 from his friend’s bank account, Igbere TV has learnt.
Igbere TV gathered that the suspect had visited his friend, identified as Ibrahim at his home in Delta state, where he reportedly stole the said friend’s ATM card without the victim’s knowledge.
Moments later, it was gathered that Ibrahim was shocked when he received a debit alert of N660,000, just few hours after Emmanuel left his house.
He quickly rushed to the bank to freeze his account, and also block his ATM card, before he reported the issue to the police.
The police immediately swung into action and discovered that Emmanuel, his friend was behind the shady withdrawal.
It was learnt that the suspect had uploaded pictures of himself grooving on Facebook and also flaunted wads of cash online.
