…Says only coward losers write petitions to police as campaign strategy
…Presidency not a sick bay, it’s a demanding, rigorous office
Etim Ekpo LGA of Akwa Ibom state on Friday witnessed the greatest human invasion as the PDP campaign trail birthed in the area. Thousands of indigenes thronged the Etim Ekpo stadium, venue of the 2019 PDP Governorship rally to show solidarity to Governor Udom Emmanuel, Igbere TV report.
The Governor who walked into the venue at about 3:55pm, was mobbed by hundreds of enthusiastic supporters who chanted solidarity songs as they ushered him into the rally ground.
Addressing the rally in a speech that electrified and aroused the crowd, the PDP National Legal Adviser, Barr Emmanuel Enoidem, thanked the Governor for his godliness and believe in the “Divine Mandate” and “Only God” philosophy and commended the state chief executive for trusting in God and not man and reassured the Governor that PDP will win with a landslide reminiscent of what has always been the tradition in the state since 1999.
“Your Excellency, If you had trusted man, you would have been disappointed. God has not disappointed you. What you have seen today in Etim Ekpo with this mammoth crowd is clear. The facts speaks for itself”.
“Yesterday (Thursday), the APC wondered around here in the name of campaign rally with strange and imported fellows. But Etim Ekpo are here today. This is Etim Ekpo for you. Etim Ekpo has always been PDP from 1998. PDP owners are here. Only foreigners are the one’s who left”, he declared.
The former Commissioner for Special Duties said, only those who have already failed election are busy writing petitions to the police in the name of “Warsaw saw Warsaw”. “Woe unto any who plans bloodshed and death on election day”, he declared.
“I fear no one. They will see me and this election and they will fail come February 16 and March 2, 2019” he vowed.
The Etim Ekpo born legal icon and party administrator said, defectors who left PDP are uncommon cowards unworthy to lead the people. “An Annang man is a man of pride, not a coward. In 2015 Akpabio said someone with a broom was a slave and that the broom was a sign of servitude. But that same man paid flight to London to submit his application to carry the broom. He flew to Lagos to submit the same application and also flew to Abuja to submit the application”.
According to Enoidem, Akpabio threw away his seat as Senator and his Senate Minority Leadership position because of fear when he defected, which explains why former deputy governor, Dr Chris Ekpeyong will replace the former governor come February 16, 2019.
“Come February 16, one ex-taxi driver and Coca Cola seller wants to try our resolve in Etim Ekpo federal constituency. Aniekan Umanah is the next federal constituency representative and Mfon Idung will replace the former stammerer as our House of Assembly member”, he promised.
He told Etim Ekpo people that the March 2, 2019 is a referendum where lies will bow to truth, describing defectors who left PDP as greedy and people without strenght, urging the people not be misled by Akpabio, a man he described as a politician who cannot keep any agreement as a mark of honour or integrity.
“In 2014, Akpabio said Attah went for 8 years, himself did 8 years and therefore his successor Governor Udom Emmanuel will go for 8 years. He said the same thing even till 2018. Therefore his summersaults means lack of integrity. Udom Emmanuel is worthy of reelection and his 2nd term is not for free but borne out of competence and superior performance as the Governor has fulfilled all his 5 point agenda he promised Akwa Ibom people in 2015”, he declared.
He called on Etim Ekpo people to reject President Muhammadu Buhari come February 16 and vote massively for Atiku Abubarkar as the next President.
“The country has suffered under Buhari. The killings are unimaginable under his regime. Today we have over 3.2 million Nigerians in IDP camps, over 23.9 million unemployed Nigerians while Nigeria has become the world poverty headquarters”.
“Trice Buhari has fallen during campaign rally. He does not know who is his party’s presidential or gubernatorial candidate. He does not know the meaning of livestock yet he is rearing cattles. The presidency is not a sick bay. It is a demanding and rigorous office”, he submitted.
