Rotimi Amaechi, director general of the Buhari Campaign Organisation and minister of transport, says the February elections is between the poor people and the rich people.
Amaechi went on to say that APC is for the poor people, while the PDP is for the rich people, who are big men and thieves.
While campaigning in Warri on Thursday, Amaechi said he was born in a poor town in Rivers state, and that is why he is passionate about this election between the poor and the rich.
Speaking the local pidgin English, Amaechi said: “Dem born me for Ubima, Ubima na for poor people, no be big man. This election na only for poor people and big men; big men dey one side, poor men dey one side.
“APC na for poor people. So we no go allow these thieves collect power from us again o. All of us wey be poor men go comot go vote o,” he added.
He asked the people not to sleep on election day, stating that if they sleep, “PDP will steal the forms and write results as they did in the past”.
He said the only way to change Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta state, was to vote APC at all levels within the state.
The bigwigs of the APC present at the rally include, Ibe Kachikwu, minister of state for petroleum; Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the APC; Festus Keyamo, the Buhari campaign spokesman.
