A patient was, on Friday, caught stealing at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi.
The suspect was on admission at the burns ward as a result of wounds sustained after his brother burnt him for stealing, IgbereTv report.
He was said to be trying to steal through a window at ward 5A of the hospital, when one Maggie Jere alerted the security guards.
Upon their arrival, they found him with two phones and the sum of K2,300 which he had already stolen. He has since been whisked to the Blantyre police station.
