Ex-Manchester United José Mourinho has landed a television job for the first time after leaving the Old Trafford dwellers last year.
According to a Mirror report, the 55-year-old football tactician will be working as an analyst for beIN Sports in Qatar, during the month-long tourney.
The Portuguese tactician was axed by Man United in December 2018 after a poor run of result in the first stanza of the league.
However, Mourinho’s replacement at Old Trafford Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gone on to win all his five matches in charge, netting several goals in the process.
Hopefully, Mourinho will take out time and speak about his reign at United during the tournament in the United Arab Emirates, which kicked-off on January 5.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss will be heading to the Asian tournament in high spirit after receiving his £15m compensation from Manchester United following his sack last month.
“There are no issues over Jose’s contract with Manchester United. Everything has been sorted.
“Jose is able to take on another job right now, but is in no rush. He is very relaxed about it and would be happy to wait until the end of the season if he needs to,” a source reportedly told Mail Online.
