Kalu a Great Blessing to Abia, Brought New Political Leverage to the State - Hon Onyejiocha

Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency of Abia State, Hon Nkeiruka Onyejiocha has described the former governor of Abia, Dr. Orji Kalu as the man who gave a new leverage to the state’s political land scape.
Onyejiocha who made this known at Acha in Isiukwuato Local Government, said there is no politician in Abia that did not pass through the tutelage of Kalu.
According to her, “Kalu made Abia to know true democracy, there is no notable politician in Abia today that was not made by Kalu and that is the fact”.

She regretted that those Kalu handed over governance of the state to, have disappointed him and Abians by their decimal performance.
“It bleeds my heart that those Kalu handed over governance of Abia to, have not only disappointed him (Kalu), but Abians as a whole”.
She said as a member a member of the House of Representatives that she attracted Ecological Funds for the control of erosion in Isiukwuato, but regretted the money was embezzled by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government of Abia State.
She urged the People to vote for APC as the party was going to change the narratives of governance in the state.
Kalu, addressing the crowd, told them of how he gave people of the state free education, free medical care, provided electricity to communities in the state and promised to do more if elected.
He berated the PDP government in the state for not doing the simplest thing in governance which is the payment of workers salary and said if APC comes to power, this will change.
“When I was governor, I paid workers the 13th month as against the present situation where workers are owed over 12 months salary.

“Again, when I was governor, tuition fees at Abia State University, Uturu was N7,000, but now, the fees are beyond the reach of an average family in Abia”.
Kalu informed the people that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the reconstruction of their road by NDDC which work he said would start soon.
At Ugwuawu in Uturu, Kalu said that PDP had no shame, otherwise they wouldn’t come to area to campaign having abysmally failed the people.
He said as the village of APC governorship candidate, Dr. Uche Ogah, he was not supposed to campaign in the area, but came to show himself to the people so they would see him and know he would not dead as rumoured by PDP.
He urged the people to vote for him.
