A poll carried out by Channels TV on Sunday, showed that 63% of Nigerians are not behind the president at all. According to the poll, 25% of this percentage feels that Buhari’s policies are very poor. Another 37% say they are confused about his policies and do not even understand what he is doing.

But another 38% feel the president is not doing so badly. However, even out of this percentage, only 17% feel that he is doing very well by ticking ‘Good’, the remaining 21% feel that the president’s policies are only ‘average’.

About 2,000 people participated in the polls which was carried out on Sunday, August 21, just two days after finance minister, Kemi Adeosun said the government would inject N60billion ($180 million) into the economy as spending on capital projects which are part of the 2016 budget.

According to her, the government has spent over N400 billion on capital projects so far.

While Osinbajo released a five-pronged plan at a summit in Lagos, Buhari told a cross-section of chief executives of African central banks that he and his team are working hard to create millions of jobs.
