Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has finally opened up on why he did not attend the debate for candidates of the
Anambra governorship election on Sunday.
Channels TV had on Sunday, organised a debate for candidates of the Anambra state governorship election because, and Nollywood actor-turned politician, Yul Edochie, who was conspicuosly absent, has come out to that he did not attend the debate becuase he was not invited as only 5 of the 37 candidates in the election took part in the debate
The screenstar took to his official Twitter handle, and shrugged off being overlooked, saying that his spirit remains high, adding that he would continue with his campaign. He said; βItβs time for the masses to have a say. November 18th, stand with me, the future is in our hands.β
Yul, who is the son of veteran movie star, Pete Edochie, was returned unopposed as the candidate of the Democratic Peoples Congress, (DPC) for the election. Although 37 political parties will participate in the November 18 election, only the candidates of the five major parties took part in the debate.
