Less than 70 days to the 2019 Presidential elections, the All Progressives Congress flag bearer, President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed his resolve to willingly concede defeat if he is trounced in the polls.
Most analysts say the race is between Buhari and the candidate of the main opposition party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubarka.
President Buhari made the assertion on Wednessday at the 3rd Coronation Anniversary of the Olu of Warri Kingdom, HRM. Ogiame Ikenwoli, Igbere TV reports.
The President, who was represented by the Minister of Petroleum Resources (State) Dr. Ibe Kachukwu, said he will ensure that the 2019 general elections is free and fair, adding that “Nigerians will be allowed to vote their consciences.”
The event which was graced by the Sultan of Sokoto also had many dignitaries in attendance.
