BENIN CITY: THE Media Director to Aisowieren Campaign Organization, Liberty Omoruyi has lambasted the Peoples Democratic Party in Orhionmwon and Uhumwonde for presenting candidates without verifiable track record for elections into the State and National Assemblies.
Speaking with APC supporters after he released an article urging the PDP to publish the Curriculum Vitae and Work Experience of their candidates, and what they have contributed to the development of the local government councils, Liberty Omoruyi lamented that the 2019 general elections further exposed the PDP from head to toe as a party of ‘anything goes.’
He said: “PDP is not a serious party. They have been tested and what they had was F9 in Orhionmwon and Uhumwonde. One would have thought that they will be presenting candidates who have track record of sacrifice for the progress of our people, instead, they are presenting us with their girlfriends who barely know the route to their village.”
The campaign spokesman continued that, “we perceive a free ride to victory if PDP cannot be bold to state in clear terms what their candidates have done for our people in their private or public capacity. It is not enough to say “I will.” That is too cheap to seek for position in modern day Nigeria. Our people know Aisowieren very well, from his personal to public life. Like I said earlier, he is a village boy like us. He knows us and we know him, not one diasporan who recently discovered she is from our local government.”
