A very sad report coming in from Borno State indicates that at least 25 soldiers have been killed and wounded by a fresh Boko Haram attack in Gambur town.

The global terror monitoring organisation @Terrormonitor tweeted :

#IslamicState Claims Killing/Wounding 25 Soldiers In An Attack Near Gambur Town In #LakeChad. #TerrorMonitor

This is coming weeks after a similar attack in Metele which resulted to the death of over one hundred soldiers.
