Ahead of 2019 general election, Ohaneze Ndi Igbo (Youth Wing) Worldwide and 10 other groups have endorsed the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Dr. Chima Anyaso for the Bende federal constituency seats.
Speaking during the event at the Igbere country home of Anyaso, the President of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo (youth wing) said the groups decided to endorse Anyaso because he has the interest of the youth at heart and urged other candidates to wait.

He said : “Anyaso is the only candidate that we know. And he will be going there for us because he has the interest of the youths at heart. Other candidates should wait behind ”
“Come 2019 general election, he will have 100 percent of our support”
Ohaneze also appointed Anyaso as the ‘Chairman Advising Council of Igbo Youth’
