A group of well to do Canadian based Nigerians under the aegis of Bende People in Diaspora, yesterday hosted the PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Bende Federal Constituency Dr Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso to a lunch/fundraising in Canada.
A member of the group who spoke at the event said that, the group had carefully evaluated all the candidates gunning for the position to represent Bende at the green chamber and have decided to throw its weight behind the PDP candidate Dr Chima Anyaso.

This decision according to the speaker, was reached in acknowledgment of the immense contributions of Dr Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso in the area of education, youth empowerment and Community development in his individual capacity.
The group assured Dr Chima of their total support both financially as well as physical involvement during the campaigns as it is necessary in ensuring his victory in election.
They were hopeful that he would deliver quality representation as his values are founded on Integrity, Transparency and Humility. The group acknowledged that Bende needs a good leader that will take the Constituency to greater heights through qualitative and effective representation hence their support for Dr Chima Anyaso.
The group also made cash donations and pledges running into millions of Naira to the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization.
While endorsing Dr Chima Anyaso, a member of the group promised to carry out road grading projects in ten villages across Bende Federal Constituency as his support to Dr Anyaso during the campaign.
Dr Chima Anyaso in his response thanked the group for their support and promised not to fail them and the good people of Bende. According to him, “ our campaign will be a campaign of hope, a campaign of love and a campaign of development. We will present the issues as they are and proffer lasting solutions to the problems facing our Constituency. expectations are high and I will work assiduously in fulfilling the people’s Mandate when I am elected”.
