Abia PDP Postpones Fed House of Reps Primaries

The People’s Democratic Party has postponed the Federal House of Representatives primary election scheduled to hold across the state on Wednesday 3 October. The new date is tomorrow, 4th October by 7am.

A statement by the party Chairman, Chief Johnson Onuigbo made available to IGBERE TV says

“The House of Representatives Primary Election scheduled to hold today October 3rd has been postponed till tomorrow, Thursday 4th October, 2018 by 7am prompt.

The party regrets every inconveniences.”

This was after the party had earlier directed that the poll at all the 8 constituencies in the state must proceed into the night.

The party did not give any reason for the postponement.
