A driver has met his untimely death after runing inside a pothole in Lagos
A danfo driver has been crushed to death by an articulated lorry in Mushin area of Lagos State. The accident was reported to have occurred at 5am, Agege Motor Road, LUTH Junction involving a fully loaded lorry conveying tin of tomatoes named “mom’s”.
The lorry was said to have fallen when trying to dodge a pothole.
An eyewitness, who indetified him only as Adewale said Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) took two hours before arriving at the scene of the accident.
“We called LASEMA immediately the accident happened, but arrived two hours after the incident had happened. We couldn’t rescue him (driver) because he was under the lorry and may had even survive if they had arrived early.
