Governorship candidate under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ademola Adeleke, has raised his utmost concerned in the saturday’s election, warning the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, over meddling with the pole’s result.
People’s decision should be respected, Adeleke said!
This speech was aired in a statement provided by the campaign organisation which was signed by Olawale Rasheed, campaign Director of Media & publicity of Adeleke.
The statement states,
“The Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation has warned against the manipulation of the results of the governorship polls, affirming that the will of the people must be respected. ” We call for proper and adequate play from the electoral body as results are been collected across the state. “We are watching and monitoring closely. Under no circumstance should the the collection process be manipulated.
“Our agents and leaders are on their toes armed with relevant results and forms.
The people’s decision must be respected. We task INEC and security agencies to obey the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari who had instructed that the Osun electoral process should never be compromised for any reason by federal or any related agencies.
We are calling on local and international observers to take of the ongoing process and give helping hand to the people of Osun State to actualize the supremacy of their electoral stands.
“Our people should also be ever readyy to protect their votes and rights for better living”.
