Following alleged comment by the former governor of Abia state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu over Nnamdi Kanu’s whereabout, the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) on Thursday revealed that it has concluded plans to drag the former governor to court.
IGBERE TV correspondent reports that the lawyer to IPOB, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, told journalists in Owerri, that Kalu’s statement was a script written by the Federal government of Nigeria and acted by him (Kalu).
Recall that the former governor was quoted to have said after a meeting on Tuesday, 18th September 2018, with former military president Ibrahim Babangida in Minna, that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was cooling off in London.
The former governors office however swiftly debunked the report describing it as baseless, fictitious and fake.
The leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu disappeared after the September 14, 2017, Operation Python Dance, by Nigeria Army, in the Southeast region and has not been seen or heard since then.
Angered by this statement credited to former Abia state, governor, Ejiofor said that Orji Uzor Kalu, had made himself a party to the matter already in court
