The suspected blackmailers who allegedly recorded Osun state lawmaker, Mr Timothy Owoeye bathing naked at a market square have been dragged to court.
The suspected criminals, whose identities are still being concealed by the police were today brought to an Oshogbo Magistrate court, presided over by Olusegun Ayilara, amidst heavy security presence.
Security personnel had a hectic time controlling hundreds of supporters of the lawmaker, who trooped to the court in solidarity with him.

The lawmaker, who is the Majority Leader of Osun State House of Assembly was also in court for the proceeding backed by a large number of his supporter. His supporters were initially barred by security operatives from entering the court room, but they eventually forced themselves in.
IGBERE TV reporter gathered from a court official that a man suspected to be sympathetic to the accused persons was stripped Unclad and injured by some of the lawmaker’s supporters.

The supporters were also angry that the accused persons were allowed to cover their faces while they were marched into the courtroom by armed prison officers.
It will be recalled that Owoeye’s n*de video went viral on Saturday. He was said to have been tricked and swindled by the blackmailers.
The N*de video was said to be recorded to prevent him from reporting the fraud to the police.
