Amobi Ogah Knocks Reps Member Over Destruction of His Billboards (Photos)
Following the destruction of billboards, posters and other campaign materials belonging to an Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency aspirant Chief Amobi Ogah by thugs suspected to be loyal to a certain House of Reps member, the Isuikwuato born gentleman has called on politicians to eschew bitterness in the game.
Speaking to IGBERE TV on Monday, Chief Ogah expressed concern over what he described as act of desperation by politicians and called for an end to such show of intolerance.
“I’m worried that at a point when we should all embrace peace and tolerance, some individuals have resorted to self help by employing thugs to destroy the billboards and campaign materials belonging to other people. This is a show of desperation and must not be allowed to continue. Those who feel they are popular should go and tell the electorate what they have for them. Not by perpetually attempting to keep themselves in office against the wish of the people” he said.
He called on the security agencies to unravel those behind the dastardly act and deal with them according to the law.
Chief Ogah however appealed to his loyalists and supporters to remain calm, assuring them that the security agencies will address the issues.
He expressed optimism that come February 2019, he would emerge the next House of Reps member for the federal Constituency, describing himself as the chosen one.
