SIT-AT-HOME: Enugu Shuts Down Market, Hails IPOB Leadership
Agbani road and Timber / kanyita market in Enugu metropolis has been shutdown to honor IPOB sit at home order.
According to a trader in the market who was locking his shop when our reporter visited the scene says the sit at home order is a welcome development.
” If i can close my shop on SUNDAY, while cant i do the same today? ” when asked his reasons of observing the order he said
” What we are doing today is to pass our grievances to the world, IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu’s home was ransacked exactly this time last year by Nigerian Army and he was arrested and taken to an undisclosed place, kept incommunicado with his numerous members, we therefore protest for his release”. he said.
IGBERE TV earlier reports that the compliance order for the sit at home is recording a significant success .
