2019 : Bende Youths Send Strong Warning To PDP, Ikpeazu Over Imposition Of Candidate

Youths under the aegis of ‘Bende Youths Concern Citizens’ have warned the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State not to impose any candidate to the good people of Bende Federal Constituency ahead of 2019 general elections.

The youths expressed concern over the rumors making waves that Hon. Nnenna Elendu Ukeje wants to return back to the National Assembly after spending 12 years “doing nothing.”

They described Ukeje as a failure whom if allowed to go back to the House of Rep will bring a great disaster to the entire people of Bende.

The Youths made this known in a meeting held in Uzoakoli on 13th September 2018.

A statement signed by Honourable Dandison Ozue Nkemakolam, Chairman. Bende Youths Concern Citizens reads in part,

Communique Arising From Bende Youths Concern Citizens. We agreed as follows…

(1) That any attempt to impose Nnenna Elendu Ukeje on Bende people will amount PDP loosing Bende Federal Constituency to the opposition party which will be at the detriment of PDP and the people of Bende, as many have started living the party secretly since she picked her interest form to go for her 16 years in office.

(2) Hon. Nnenna Elendu Ukeje’s 16 years of inactive representation in Bende will mean disaster to the entire Bende Federal Constituency if something is not urgently done, as she has failed the entire Bende in her current 12 years of ineffective representation.

(3) That the beauty of democracy is tenure system, government come and go, the people compare and contrast.

(4) We ask Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Abia state PDP Chairman Chief Johnson Onuigbo to rescue us from the hand of Honourable Nnenna Elendu Ukeje.

Sign Honourable Dandison Ozue Nkemakolam Chairman. Bende Youths Concern Citizens.
