A Vigilante group operating at Ojuwo-Afu area, in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area (LGA), Ajaka axis in Kogi State have apprehended a notorious gang of suspected cultists and kidnappers terrorizing the area.
Reports reveal that the two suspects identified as Abdulkarim Idris a.k.a Firefighter & Atene Amade a.k.a Mad lion, were said to have carried out numerous abductions in the past particularly along Idah-Ajegu-Lokoja road.
Further investigations by IGBERE TV reveal that the suspects appear to have strong political backings which accounts to their ability to get away with all the cases of Kidnappings they have been associated with in the past.
The news of the arrests of the notorious kidnappers, ‘Firefighter’ and ‘Mad lion’, has excited the villagers but there are fears their godfathers who are said to be rich and influential will soon negotiate their release.
They are therefore calling on Nigerians to help them spread the news so the police IG, Ibrahim Idris will come to their aid.
