Report has it that some female members of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), have been rushed to the hospital during their arraignment today at the Owerri Magistrate court, Imo state.
It was disclosed that few moments after the women, who were in High spirit, arrived the court premises, one of them collapsed while they were chanting Biafra songs and was resuscitated by her colleagues who poured water on her.
Another woman who is said to be pregnant, was also rushed to the hospital in a police vehicle during the arraignment.
The women were arrested on 17th Of August 2018, during a protest in Owerri, the Imo State capital, while demanding the whereabouts of the missing IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kalu and a referendum for an Independent state of Biafra by the Federal Government.
