A young man has appealed to the federal government to come to their aid following the incessant and random killings of villagers in Ukanafun and Etim Ekpo communities in Akwa Ibom State. According to Victor Marcus, the focus of the government and Nigerians are on the recent massacre in Plateau state while many villagers are being killed by hoodlums and unscrupulous elements in the above mentioned LGAs.
He share graphic pictures of his younger brother Boniface who was killed by two cultists on a motorcycle who rode into their compound, shot him death and move and till date justice is yet to be done.
According to Victor, many villagers have fled the communities over fear of being victim.
Victor wrote;
Who will weep for us?
Who will come to our rescue?
Don’t we deserve the right to live and to do business in Nigeria?
Isn’t it the government responsibility to protect lives and properties of her citizens?
What have we done wrong to the government of Akwa Ibom state and Nigeria?
