This morning I and Dcns Lynn are on our way to attend the burial of Mrs. Roseline Akaaer, a resident of Mbawuar in Vandeikya Local Government who was burnt in her thatched hut on the 3rd of February 2018 with her 3months old baby. We had put in resources in making sure she made it alive, even when the Dr’s certified she was ok and could return home. A bill of N83,300 was paid by a good Samaritan living in Liberia. Its sad anyways that we still lost her to the cold hands of death.
The husband had cried to us that he can’t take care of the now 6month old baby left behind by his late wife. We spoke to Favour-Enewa Adah Paul Thatagatugyer to help us adopt the child into her orphanage and she obliged. The child will be returning to makurdi with us along side the father, so that formal handover to the orphanage will be arranged. We loved you Mrs Rose Akaaer but God almighty loves you more. Continue to Rest In Peace, amen.
