Ekiti Guber: Another Tragedy In Ado-Ekiti, Police Officer Killed; ex Rep, Others Shot

The Convoy of the All Progressive Congress, APC candidate, Kayode Fayemi has killed a police officer, Inspector Gabriel Kayode.

Inspector Gabriel Kayode is of the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) and is due for promotion to the rank of ASP.

According to the Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka on his Facebook account said:

“Convoy of APC candidate, Kayode Fayemi has killed a police officer, Inspector Gabriel Kayode”.

“He was knocked down at Fajuyi area of Ado Ekiti by one of the vehicles in Fayemi’s convoy”

“Inspector Gabriel Kayode is of the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) and is due for promotion to the rank of ASP”.

Three weeks ago (June 1), during the reception for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in next month’s election in Ekiti State, Dr.Kayode Fayemi was turned bloody in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, as a mobile policeman opened fire as Fayemi, surrounded by scores of party chieftains, was leaving APC’s state secretariat to move to the city centre in continuation of the rally. A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele and five other people were hit by bullets.
