A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Onuaku Uturu in isiukwuato LGA, Abia State Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah has stated that the ability of the party to continue waxing stronger in the state has made it number one in the state, stressing that it will send the PDP led government in the state to retirement in 2019.
Chief Ogah made this known in a message to congratulate Hon. Donatus Nwankpa led executives of the party in the state on their yesterday inauguration by the national leadership of the party.
He also called for a collective effort of the party members in the state to give Abians what he called the breath of freedom in next year’s election.
The message, sent to IGBERE TV reads;
“I congratulate Rt.Hon Donatus Nwankpa led executives of Abia State All Progressives Congress (APC) for their successful installation by the national chairman of our party Chief John Oyegun.
“This is a clear indication that the party is now better repositioned and equipped for higher exploits in Abia state and the entire South East region.
“Beyond the fanfare, we must intensify our efforts at bringing a people oriented leadership to the good people of Abia State. The current ineffectual governance in Abia must not for any reason be allowed to foist on the people beyond 2019 if Abia must survive.
“That the party has continued to wax stronger in structure and number in our state is an eloquent testimony that it is the number one party in the state and fully ready to send the current joke in our government house to an overdue retirement come 2019.
“This is a tempo we must collectively sustain to give our people the breath of freedom they desperately crave for. This is a new dawn that will change the ugly narratives in our beloved state.
“Again, I congratulate Rt.Hon Donatus Nwankpa and his team and pray for God’s wisdom to steer this ship to the Promised Land”.
