Fear gripped residents of Oteri, Ughelli, Delta State after a young man killed himself in a gruesome manner. According to reports, the deceased stabbed himself multiple times before eventually slitting his own throat. .
It was gathered that the deceased, identified as Mukoro Ovie, didn’t allow anyone to get close to him. The more people tried to get close, the more he stabbed himself. The police were later called to the scene but that did stop him.
Ovie eventually slit his own throat while the police were attempting to overpower him. No one knows what triggered his action.
