BREAKING!!! Zaki Biam Boils Hot as Gunmen Attack Benue Again, Many Killed

A very disturbing report just reaching our newsdesk indicates there is currently a heavy tension in Zaki Biam, Benue State.

Several sources are confirming sporadic shooting by unknown gunmen in the town.

An eyewitness who spoke with IGBERE TV correspondent said:

A very disturbing report just reaching our newsdesk indicates there is currently a heavy tension in Zaki Biam, Benue State.

An eyewitness who spoke with IGBERE TV correspondent said:

“Last night at about 3 AM,we started hearing heavy gunshot from the yam market area of the town,people become perplex but before you say jark, repelling shoots started sounding. At about 3 30am,the whole town became engulf in sparodic shootings with people seen runing and crying,shouting and advancing for safty. Already this morning, nine people have been confirmed dead and many wounded and missing. Pictures could not be taken now as security agencies barricaded the whole place and are stopping people from taking pictures or asking questions.more details soon.”

 

A resident who ran into the bush during the shootout also posted on facebook:

 

Recall that over 50 people were killed in March 2017 during a similar attack in the city.
