There was confusion and panic among residents of Kwangila area in Zaria, Kaduna state after thinking a bomb blast had occurred following a deafening sound which was heard in the area. The explosion was reported to have been caused by some gas cylinders after their pressure pipes broke and wrecked havoc in the market.
According to reports, a man who was at the area to buy gas – was so lucky after the cylinder exploded, propelled towards his vehicle and shattered the glasses.
The incident caused a huge scene in the area as many people gathered at the market to see what had happened before the arrival of the authorities.
