
Scores were killed and dozens injured when a suicide bomber attacked civilians in Konduga local government area of Borno state on Tuesday, vigilante sources and NEMA confirmed.
The blast occurred near the military custody in Konduga town at about 01:15pm, killing scores of surrendered civilians including vigilantes
Northeast Zonal Coordinator National Emergency Management Agency, Bashir Garga also confirmed the blast.
“Yes there was a blast but we are trying to sort things out, I will call you later.” Bashir confirmed.
A vigilante source who did not want his name known said some of their members were victims.
“Our members were affected by the blast but most of the victims are surrendered civilians whom are undergoing investigation by the military.”
