Premier League champions Manchester City broke a number of records with their 3-1 victory over Brighton on Wednesday and celebrated by dining out at a lavish restaurant on Thursday night. City, who lifted the title following their draw with Huddersfield, became the team with the most goals, most wins and most points in a season in Premier League history with the victory over the Seagulls.
The club rewarded their players for their efforts as they rented out an entire restaurant for their second celebratory night out in a matter of days.
City, who hosted a title-winning party for 500 staff on Sunday night, hired out all of Tattu Restaurant in Manchester’s city centre.
The players, who arrived with their wives and girlfriends, were treated to a fine meal at the contemporary Chinese restaurant with the table surrounded by golden balloons shaped in the form of the Premier League trophy.
If Pep Guardiola’s side beat Southampton on Sunday, they will also become the first English top-flight champions to reach 100 points.
