A House of Representatives aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Bende federal constituency Chief Benjamin Okezie Kalu has felicitated with workers all over Nigeria on this year’s celebration of international labour day.
In a statement personally signed by the Bende born politician and international businessman and made available to Abia Breaking News, he promised to devote more time and energy to initiate policies that will enhance a better condition of service for the workers.
The statement reads “I felicitate with workers across Nigeria as they join their counterparts across the world to mark this year’s labour day. Despite the poor welfare package available to them, our workers have remained resolutely committed to giving their best for the growth and development of our nation. I salute you all.
“If elected into the federal House of representatives, I will devote more energy and time to chart a new course for the promotion of the welfare of Nigerian workers”.
He also assured the people of Bende that he would cause a total turn around in their general welfare and infrastructure, particularly education, healthcare and others if elected the next House of Reps member for the area. “The welfare of all Nigerians remains paramount to the government of APC at all levels and this I will leverage on to change the unpalatable narratives in my constituency; infrastructure, education, health etc will receive a new boost.
“We can collectively do this together with your active support and collaboration by massively casting your votes for me in 2019 general election to represent you at the Federal House of representatives. I count on you to make this change happen” he said.
He also prayed that the new month brings all Nigerians unprecedented favour and result beyond their imagination.
